    The detail on this looks right. The pin is not correct (should be brass), and may be a replacement. What gets me is the makers stamp. The raised lettering "WERNSTEIN JENA" is the correct size and font, but the example images I've found, the marks are embedded in line with the oak leaf veins. In my example, the marks seemed to have missed the vein.     It's a very nice original 'tinnie' badge.
    I don't think the pin has been replaced. I have a 'few' tinnies with steel pins.
    I don't think it is particularly rare
    It would make a nice addition to any collection
