Day badges, or "Tinnies"
To commemorate the 1st May ............ worth about the price they are at
They are commonly called tinnies. This one was issued to celebrate May 1st (also) Reichs Party Day in 1936. You got a very good deal on them, the retail each is $20 - $30, especially for very nice ones like you have. Because they are made from Aluminum a lot of them are in very poor condition.
Yes this is a nice condition Tinnie. A good find!

ok cool. thanks for the info. there were a couple more there i saw a wound medal there also for about $30. i dont think the people realy know what they have there i find alot of random things like this just sitting on shelves. im thinking alot of the stuff i see must be war trophies since these shops are right off my military post.
This was the very pattern of badge which started me off collecting!
The Wound badge if original might be worth buying.
Cheers, Ade.
