I have just bought this sticpin, and mu id is that it is a GERMAN VETERAN STICKPIN with lighthouse and swastika beneath, more comments are welcome:

This is a German WWII stick pin. These items were issued to military, civilian and political individuals for various reasons. In the case of military personnel, a stickpin was given along with a full size award. The soldier could wear the stick pin instead of having to sport the full size badge. The design of the stick pin consists of a shield with an enameled front. A lighthouse is placed on top of a rock, and swastika beneath.
On the reverse: Ges. Gesch (Ges Gesch)
Ges Gesch is an abbreviation for gesetzlich geschützt. Gesetzlich translates from German to English as legal, legitimate, by law. Geschützt translates from German to English as protected or sheltered. Ergo the translation means: legally protected.

This would be the Reichskriegerbund veteran's pin...It's actually the Kyffhaeuser Veteran's Memorial and not a lighthouse...
Nice to see you have both!
    cheers,
    Glenn
