    It's a "C" grade glider pilot's badge. Unless I am much mistaken, this one is from Sweden:

    These A/B/C glider pilot's badges are international, but I know that they exist with additional letters identifying the country in which they were issued. These letters correspond to the codes used for aircraft registration numbers.

    For example, those from the USA bear the letter "N", as used for aircraft registered to the USA. (see: Soaring Society of America for more). I am also aware of badges with "F" for France and "DDR" for the former GDR.

    Perhaps another member is more knowledgable on the matter and can provide additional information in terms of period etc.
