HJ and Luftschutz armbands - real or fake?

Bought these from a half reliable, half unreliable seller recently; reliable in the sense that he doesn't try to cheat anyone and has some good stuff; unreliable in that he can't tell the difference between real and fakes. Any ideas on these two armbands?

Sorry, but both these are reproductions.

In fact, I strongly believe the Junkers Werk armband to be a fantasy item.

Ah, well, I can't say I didn't expect it. These are from the same unreliable source, which is becoming more and more clear as to how unwise it is of me to use it. And I DID have trouble researching the Junkers Werk armband myself; all I could come up with was that it was some children's work force of some description in Kassel. That one's very convincingly aged, though.

Yes, both bad unfortunately. Look at the printing on the first armband, let alone that it is a fantasy piece! It is far from straight, so that is not a good start. The HJ armband is at least trying to look like something that actually existed. Hope you didn't lose too much on these though. Next time, if in doubt (in any way, even 1 percent) post on here first...somebody will be glad to help you make the correct decision.

They didn't set me back too much. In fact the fantasy armband was swapped for another fake item. And, all of these purchases took place, sadly, before I joined the forum. I'll most likely be posting quite a few pictures of these things over the next few days; I need to iron out every single fake from my collection. My only consolation is that I bought some medals from the same source which do appear to be genuine, as verified by a different, and infinitely more trusted dealer.

The guy might get/have some good items, and If he doesn't really
know, you can post them here before making a purchase.

I'm sure he'd put a 'hold' on stuff for a day or two.........

Yeah, I spose. I know for a fact I've got three genuine medals from him before, not to mention Arbeitsbuchs and DAF books and suchalike. He just seems to be a bit of a sucker for Totenkopf badges and armbands.
