    Gentleman and fellow collectors..
I have read and seen a few if not many posts about mothing or nip bites..
I have never witnessed a moth in my house... Why and how does this happen and what can be done to prevent this from happening ? I really do not want to have "Open Lunch" on this tunic, or any other of my items... Any advice will be greatly appreciated.. Many Thanks... G

Aromatic cedar will do the trick as well.

Keep it in a zip up plastic suit bag with moth balls in it and it will be fine.
You can line your closet with red cedar wood also.

    PS
If the moths can't get to it there will be no damage.

I have hundreds of wool uniforms and this works for me.

I dunno, I've never had the inkling to get that close to a real moth....., and besides the effort involved, I mean.....

When an item already has moth damage, it is possible the item has moth eggs. These little critters will hatch with an immediate meal at hand. Several days in a freezer will kill the eggs and cause no harm to the garment.
