Just picked this up for $26.85US, seemed like a fair price? Is Mützabzeichen the correct name for this, or if the badge has the wreath around it, is it called something else? Thanks gents!

It is called a "Mützen Abzeichen" you were so close. The price you paid is fair as the condition is excellent, and considering the Aussie dollar value :-)
