Honour medal for Bayern industrial group? My German needs polishing What exactly is the award for? I've never seen one, looks a nice piece.
Its a lovely item. Is it wartime ?

The ribbon looks a bit like a Mothers Cross, I bet that was the source of some jokes at the wearers expense
And martin, I have bought many items on that basis. It's amazing (and maybe worrying) that your gut can still guide you even when you have no clue what an item is
It's a pre 1933 25 year faithful service in Bavarian industry medal. After that time there was a swastika at the bottom of the medal and the wording on the case was different.
I think it may be solid silver, does it have the number '1000' on the ring or edge of the award?

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

Hello there,
I believe this is pre 1933 as well. Nice court mounting on this one. Can we see a reverse of the medal bar please? Really a MINT piece.
