Good evening gentlemen. After trawling for hours over the net trying to find something tasty to buy , i decided to buy this FAD Voluntary Labour Service badge as it is one i haven't seen too often and when i have they are rarely maker marked. This one is Maker marked RZM 75. for Otto Schickle-Pforzheim - Thank you.

I'm not a fan of the enamel work on these RZM marked pieces. Here is the front of a non marked one I sold a few years ago (I can not find the reverse pic I am afraid). The difference in enamel quality is profound IMO.

I agree with WHWbook on a few points Jimm.
On the obverse the enamel does look very poor and the lettering looks like it is machine cut rather than done by hand. The pebbling can be seen on an odd few of the early Schickle badges but it is not common.
On the reverse the RZM looks good but the '75' is not in a style I have seen before and I like the pin assembly.

I guess it stands a chance but I don't think I would want it in my collection and it would need some careful hands on study.
