NSKK motorcycle helmet

Hey gang....Here's my example of a first pattern NSKK crash helmet. Man - I couldn't imagine driving around on a motorcycle with only this little thing on my head! But this was back in the 30's...
Great condition and I'd always wanted one so I went for it. Looks good with my other helmets and adds some "depth" to the helmet collection.

in the closeup pic of the liner - it's hard to see but there's a "57" written there. That said - it must have shrunk 'cause it doesn't fit me and I'm between a 56 and a 58.
Leather does tend to shrink though - you should see the size of my pickelhaube! It's TINY!

Hi Rob, I will scan some pics I have in a private photo album for you and share them here. Give me a day or so. They are very small pics though. The guy started in the RAD, then NSKK, then a Heer Kradschutze unit then a POW.
