Hello Everyone! I bought this as a last minute purchase on my way out from Douseldorf. I bought it on the way out to the train station and had only a quick time to buy it and make my train. I decided to risk it and take a chance ( and don't worry i didnt spend anywhere close to the price on the paper ) On the train I noticed several things that bothered me about the pin.

    1. No "twirl" on the pin
    2. Lack of Detail on the Eagle
    3. Defect on one of the Swastika's arms
    4. Lack of markings ( ex. RZM, M/244)

Please let me know if I am right about my observations. If worse comes to worse I'll just take it as a nice lesson.

Well worn, but appears to have had the pin replaced. Carries the maker mark of Assman, "A", probably maunfactured before the RZM regulations.

Hi Stefan, I think it was a lesson learnt. I don't like it either for the reasons outlined by yourself.

We have all been there and done that.....

    Cheers, Ade.
