I don't find those deals. Usually they are wide awake drinking a 64oz coffee.. Nice G!
We have met the enemy and have learned nothing more about him. I have, however, learned some things about myself. There are things men can do to one another that are sobering to the soul. It is one thing to reconcile these things with God, but another to square it with yourself. - Robert Leckie

I think most do not know what the meaning for this dark cufftitle is.
I have not seen a proper explanation other then staff (nor is such
cufftitle ever being mentioned in a regulation).
And why one does never see such cufftitle being actually worn?

I was talking about the dark cufftitle in wear. What you see here
worn is the brown verson, in my opinion!

I also agree with Wim. They do appear to be of the period. Years ago, I had an open collar officer quality tunic with high ranking shoulder straps with this cuff title attached. The piece was an early tailor made tunic.

It always has been my opinion these dark cufftitles were not meant for the
light-brown tunics. Maybe someone did wear it there. Will be, but I do have
another explantion however for the use of these dark cuff-titles:

mid-December 1936 the first units were raised, known as Ordensburg-Werkschar.
These Werkschar-members did wear their regular dark uniform and were mainly
technical employees (techniches Personal), assigned to any of the Ordensburg-institutions.

I have not found any piece of evidence for this assertion during my research for over
30 years, but I am practically sure about it. Just a cufftitle with the word Ordensburgen
would fit for all of the institutions.
