A pile or armbands

Hi all.
Some of these armbands are good the rest I dont know.
Some of these ive never seen before.
Please feel free to post your thoughts.

Hi Pete, From what i am seeing i would say its about half half good and bad. I have attached a picture of the ones im not a fan off but some close ups of the circled ones would allow us to get to a good resolution.

yes you are right he got stung bad.
He doesnt have a computer etc his collection was quite big up to a couple of years and a sold called friend helped him sell his collection.
From what I understand he got pennies in the dollar on his collection and this is whats left.
I,m about to post 2 DAK cuff links which to me look good.

For the ones you have X's over, are you crossing them out due to the pattern? I know 1 HJ type like this exists and is for sale on Wittmann Militaria. Also, RonR on WAF and GHW has a similar armband to the one with the anchor so it may exist. RonR also has a Reichsbahn armband with the exact same pattern. Could you get us pictures of those as well? From what I can see from these pictures, these armbands with the X's have a 50% chance IMO. A lot of these armbands are in nice shape too.

Just because a dealer has it for sale on his site is not a justification of it being genuine. As far as I am concerned, without being able to handle one, I would consider this a fantasy design. When viewing an unusual design, one must question for what purpose it was made. For this piece, I see none. Where have they been in the past 68 years? Any collection can have fakes so that also is not a method of verifying a piece to be period original.
