Political Party Collar Tab....?

Can anyone identify this collar tab? I have been asked to make an offer but have no idea of it's authenticity or value. Any help much appreciated.

Hi , I am terrible at getting the correct grades right on these(Kreis level?) but I will go as far as saying that it looks like a good NSDAP collar tab to me. I'm sure Bob Coleman or Hpl with their fountains of knowledge will give you the full details! Leon.

It's an NSDAP Kreis-level "Bereichsleiter" tab...A regional director for the Party. I'm seeing one for sale on E-Militaria for $275, and another on Ulric's for $275 as well...which seems expensive to me...but then I don't collect these, either...

I think the rank is Bereichsleiter (region leader), it looks honest but i'm no expert!..

The response you have received is correct. This is a Kreisbereichsleiter. Here is a mounted set on the double breasted tunic of a Kreisleiter with the pay grade of Bereichsleiter. The final pattern political insignia had the collar tabs as the paygrade and the armband indicating the wearer's position.
