Political tornister?

Hello everyone!

I am currently looking at this tornister and I think it might be one of that type that were used by party members. Problem is I even know less about such accessories than I know about uniforms. Therefore I am posting it here for your expertise.

What do you think? Thanks in advance for your opinions!

I would expect to find RZM markings if this was used by any of the NSDAP formations.

Hi Bob, that was what me too was expecting to find. But it seems neither the tornister above nor the mint example on a certain German dealer's website have any RZM markings. Would you expect it being stamped on some leather part or having an RZM tag sewn it?

I would expect a cloth tag and possibly also embossing on the leather parts. It certainly is possible that in the early days, stock civilian equipment was utilized. Without some manner to connect the item to an NSDAP organization, the conclusion can only be conjecture.

I have seen a few unmarked ones. I think they are the earlier ones.
This example you have shown maybe very well be that case.
