    Default Possible NSKK Cloth Eagle

    Hello all,

I hope everyone's weeks are going well. I am counting down the days till I have a few days off from work. A much needed vacation!

I recently picked up this, along with a couple other odds and ends. I was wondering if anyone knew what exactly it was. I have yet to find another like it. I believe it is NSKK, but like I said, I have found no other source to compare it to.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Thank you Bob! I have not seen a lot of these. Any idea on where I can find similar examples?

I have seen fakes of this as it is an early insignia. I would suggest continually checking dealer's websites as these do pop up now and then. Check the sticky thread on fake insignia from the 1970's. A fake of this patch is the first one shown so you at least will know what to avoid.

    Bob,

Did the political shirts have this grey color, or were they actually that white style depicted in the fakes thread?

The fender pennant also has a scroll NSKK above the eagle so I doubt that this is the source of this insignia.

The insignia does show cut threads along the edge, so it has been cut from something. The circle is about 5" from top to bottom and about 6" wingtip to wingtip.
