I just won this at an auction.. I forgot I had bid on it.. The price was moderate...
There are many different variations as far as makers, construction and class. I have a lot in the works ... But perhaps I may start to collect these. G-Man

Nice item! You really like the RAD stuff. It is an interesting field.

G,
Nice one. I have one like Weller. If I remember correctly, your type is a bit more expensive.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
"Don't tell me these are investments if you never intend to sell anything" (Quote: Wife)
I actually won this for about 22.00 dollars U.S. With all the fee's and such about 25-30 U.S.D...
Weller's is interesting.. It has all the traits of a genuine RADL... The "L" is actually a backwards "J" as it should be according to Wim.Saris..
The most intriguing aspect of this broach is the maker mark "U" .. Perhaps Wim. can comment if he is available.. G

Very nice one G-man. I see from checking out others for sale that these came in different grades. The ones I looked at were in silver and also gold. What was the difference between the 2? ( years in service ?)

I am sure there is a correlation between color and class... I used to have this information..
Also construction was a feature too..IMO... I believe based on my limited research that this example may have been produced by J. Bergs & Co. Gablonz... I will try to restore some of my files but I am afraid they have been lost ... Thanks for posting !! G-man
