Interesting stuff...I wasn't aware there was such a vast array of traditions badges for RAD...why was that? If RAD was formed under the Third Reich, what is the traditional background of these badges?

Does anyone have an image of the Sachsen XV badge in wear? The crossed swords were also a divisional crest of a few Wehrmacht divisions, I'm curious to see if perhaps it was used by the Wehrmacht, as well
