Reichsarbeitsdienst weibliche Jugend broach

Article about: This was the badge worn on the neck scarf by former members of the female section of the RAD. The silver wash finish often survives better on the back of the badge. Cheers, Ade.

I hardly did cooperate. Otherwise they would have had a totally different
and better book about RAD. I just did help my friend David Littlejohn
    with some of his questions.
My book has a special written dedication by David, dated April 26, 2000.
"Wir sollen auch unser Leben für die Brüder lassen" (1.Joh.3.16):
zum Gedächtnis Wilhelm Schenk. Er starb fürs Vaterland am 13. Juni 1916

Perhaps no book is correct.... Unless one has Reichszeugmeisterie publications on hand.. But then again The RZM didn't control the RaD... G

I also make mistakes. Often due to misleading information.

And as you say the Reichszeugmeisterei has nothing to do
with the RAD. For them a main periodical was the RAD
Verordnungsblatt and the various handbooks. All what is of
interest from them is available too me!

Instead of the well-known RZM-sign, for the RAD the triangle
with RLAD (Reichsleitung des Arbeitsdienstes) was in
use (often along with ges. gesch).

Largely one can say such a RAD-permission is like the RZM-permission.
I have not ever seen a document for that!

I believe that the one (Badge ) that started this thread was manufactured by Josef Bergs & Co. Gablonz... Here is my modest example... G

    Post 26:
Günther & Windrath was one of the main manufacturer's for
badges for the RAD according to the Bandstuhlwebverfahren.
