It seems as though these two wouldn't have been on the same uniform, but I am not entirely sure. The shoulder board is, from what I have found, a pay grade 12 board with the red denoting main line service. The collar tab is also for main line service, but I don't think it belongs with the shoulder board. I am also questioning the originality because the Reichsbahn continued on after the war using the same pay and uniform structure for some years it seems.
Is there any way to tell for sure? I am at about 75% that they are correct WW2 pieces.
Thanks!
I do not have much time at this moment to figure out.
The stars were first silver colored, according 1935-1937 uniform-regulations.
Later they used aluminum rosettes (1941). Maybe the one or the other used
aluminum stars contineously.
The collar-patch is the right form and worn since 1936 up to 1941. Before 1936
there was only a piping at three sides.
The pay-group is 13 and 12, according to "Dienstkleidung und Abzeichen" from
1936 and as the uniform-regulation from July 1935.
I do not know if they are from before 1945 or post war! About this I do not have
knowledge. At first glance they look TR too me!
Thank you for the information Mr. Saris! I was at about 75% they were of TR vintage, but feel comfortable placing them firmly in the timeframe with your input!
