I agree, but armed with only one's opinion anyone can be wrong. However, when either taking a professional opinion whose sole career is militaria, or someone else, I would take the professional's opinion. Lastly, saying its a repro just because isn't exactly a valid arguement.

I would think a huge dealer like Beck Militaria would know a little more about authenticity, but everyone has their own opinion.
    yeah, what would I know?

    Post photos of the reverse.

Here are two very similar pins from a reputable German Dealer even though you said that the pins should not have an RZM mark.

The top link here shows a badge with RZM and Ges Gesh but no M1 number, sorry mate but it should have a number.

Photos of the reverse are and have been posted in the classifieds. Well, when you receive items from friends who had family that were actually Nazi party members in the same town that I myself grew up in, I think you would understand where I am coming from. So you can move your inquisition along to someone else, thank you.

That's the concept of the forum Johann, open healthy debate.
It's NOT an inquisition in any shape or form only varied opinions.

Am I seeing the classic "coffin" pins on 2 of these pieces?

    Hello Johann
The only badge of the four that shows any sign of authenticity is the painted party badge.
As the other guys have already stated the remaining three are no good. now that we have
photos of the reverse we see the infamous coffin shaped pin plate on two of them. This
is a sure & accepted sign of a fake badge. A dealer of Beck Militarias standing should know
badges like this are bad but they keep popping up on his site along with other dodgy items.

RZM regulations were instituted on January 16, 1935 and Party items must display an RZM mark and makers contract number after this point. RZM marks would not be present on election badges/sympathy badges in 1933. Furthermore, Deutschland Erwache badges did not show a date on the obverse.

The rare Hitler/Ludendorf Graf badge is from the 1920's and surely didn't have RZM marks of anykind, they didn't exist yet.

The zince party badge M1/101 may have a chance.

As the fellow member all1knew correctly pointed out, they are bad fakes. No offense to you, we all learn somewhere. There are good websites and some books that will clearly shore-up my above comments.

Here are a couple pics of a period DE badge.

Please pass the info to the owner and they should make a decision to either keep them or sell them as reproductions.
