S. A. Sports Badge

Hello I am new to the forum so I appoligize if I posted this in the wrong area. I recently came across a S. A. Sports Badge and trying to assess the value (if any) I cannot take a picture at this time but I was wondering if there was any tell tale signs... How can you tell if its bronze, silver, or gold? and mine doesnt have a number on it...is that important? what the back of mine reads is
w redo gentum d obersten s. a. fuhrung saak = lautern I would really appreciate any info on this. Thanks Ryver

Here's a silver one for sale which seems to have the same markings as yours. It's catalogued at $145.00. Bronze ones are listed at around $80/85 on the same site. Welcome, and I hope this helps. rick
