    NSKK?
    Yes. Motorsturm 23 of Motorstandarte 157.

    The black color has no geographical signifcance; all NSKK collar patches were black except for those of the Korpsführung (which included inspectorates and national schools), which were carmine.

    Metal numbers and letters were typical for the NSKK.

    Not SA, but as said NSKK. If the numbers are orginally to the patch
    is the question!

    When the Motor-SA was incorporated within the NSKK for the time
    being the old colors for the collar-patches were used and officially
    described in the dress-regulation from January 1935. For about one
    year within the NSKK these colors were worn, until being replaced
    by the black ones.

    Shown here the page from the dress-regulation from early 1935;
    as well as the publication order from early 1936.

    I do not know if someone noticed the last line of the order about numbers,
    but it was done at some evening when all of the unit were together and
    so of course an irregular postion of the numbers is possible. One person
    was good with it; others were not that handy and clever!
