    Hell gents,

I have bought these SA Hochland/Alpenland shorts a while back. How come there is no RZM tag in them, like in the Diensthemd and cap? I am sure they are period, as i posted here before and after buying. If anybody have some info on "Hochland/Alpenland" i would be interested. I not much to be found on a fast google search.

    Regards, Lars

I really need some help here!! I thought it was relatively easy to find some online reference material to these shorts. Pics and so forth. However i have found very little. Only that SA gruppe Hochland, Alpenland, Donau and Südmark was permitted to wear the Bavarian style shorts. I would really really appreciate some help.

    Thanks a lot

These could well be pre-RZM or custom-tailored...I've had SA Breeches that weren't marked either, but everything else (buttons, etc) were 100% original...Glenn

As these are traditional clothing of the area, I have no doubt that some members wore private purchase shorts. SA men were usually from a background of not a lot of expendable funds.

Nice set you have there. Picked these up a few years ago. Mine don't have an RZM tag either, but have an ink stamp clearly noting them as "Property of the SA Group Hochland". Also has the size and I'm guessing makers address. Seems like these were more often a tailor made item in the earlier years. Hope that helped, and hope to find out more on the Hochland group to share soon. SA Hochland shortsSA Hochland shortsSA Hochland shortsSA Hochland shortsSA Hochland shorts
