I have this matching set for an enlisted SA trooper from a mountain unit. The buttons are maker FLL , and the edelweiss is spun aluminum on the cap. It's in really good shape with the exception of a few very small moth nips on the body of the coat

Thank you Mr. Coleman for the great information. Austrian very cool! I appreciate your counsel on the SS great coat also.
I couldn't find the unit on the collar tab. I searched , but I imagine there were a great many SA units. Do you have any info about the unit?
I cannot help on the unit, but that is a nice looking set of items.

Thank you Mr. Stevenson. I'm glad I posted it for Mr. Coleman put in in the right direction. At least I know it's Austrian in origin.

The wearer's unit as identified by the right collar patch is the 6th Sturm (6th Company) of SA-Gebirgsjäger-Standarte 59 (SA Mountain Regiment 59).
SA-Gebirgsjäger-Standarte 59 was headquartered at Salzburg in Austria.
It was subordinate to SA-Gebirgsjäger-Brigade 98, which in turn was part of SA-Gruppe Alpenland.
In 1942, its address was listed as Wiesbauerstr. 12, Salzburg and its commander as Standartenführer Hans Günther.
HPL2008 you came through again. THANK YOU!
I was just starting to research Austrian SA
