    First pattern NSDAP political eagle, used by SA and SS among others.
    Note the faint RZM mark in the wing inner corner.

    I was trying to make out the number mark Chris but too faint for me 13/15? A little rough with someone attempting to solder it, make a haphazard repair but otherwise good.

    Brian, Sorry to trouble you...it doesn't appear I can correct/change my title. I'd like to properly label this thread. Maybe 'Early SA SS Cap Badge'? Thank you.

    I was born in Nuremberg. Is there a way to determine makers work? I'd like to pick-up works made in Nuremberg.
