    Hello Phil,

This is a pretty common tinnie...we sell them for $5.00 a piece when we have them. It is cataloged in Reinhard Tieste's famed tinnie catalog as # Ein Volk, Reich, Führer 00 - 02 a. There is also a variant in silver...we usually sell that one for a few dollars more. I believe it is from either 1933 or 1934.

    Hope that helps...

1938 Anschluss Tinnie, not worth much IMO.

    Hey Eric,

I am not 100% sure but the early style of pin attachment leads me to believe that they are from before 1938. The motto is that used during the annexation of Austria...but I believe that it was around earlier than 1938.

I have seen a tinnie from 1933 with the same motto.

I don't know 100%...could be. I can't find anything concrete on it. Just not the type of pin attachment I'd expect to see on something from 1938. But it stands to reason...maybe they just cranked out a bunch of cheap tinnies to hand out to Austrians.

But the motto was definitely around before 1938.

Propaganda card with Hitler's portrait in a medallion-- '[German] Folk stand by [German] Folk, we all belong to the Fuehrer / Your Thanks, Your Yes / on 10. April [1938] issued as propaganda for the Anschluss vote in Austria.
