I'm trying to identify this medal, I've found one other example on the net: VeteransFootlocker.com Catalog
My medal has the same L. Christian Lauer of Nurnberg markings on the back.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you wondering who/what the Stahlhelm was? Or what ADF stands for.
The Stahlhelm was an interwar period paramilitary organization that acted in a similar fashion as the SA did for the NSDAP. I think they were aligned with the German National Peoples party political movement.

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

I was wondering what the ADF was, I'll do some research on the Stahlhelm. I'm also interested in what kind of price I could get for this medal?
Not one I have seen so don't know what A.D.F. Stands for. Maybe someone here does.
As for price, we don't provide valuations, just opinions on authenticity. It looks original to me but not having one to compare to, it is just a guess based on the reverse pin hardware.
