It s no problem you will find there are tons of knowledgeable collectors on the forum who are full of fantastic information and knowledge and even better happy to share with and teach you. Also previous threads are extremely helpful when unsure of an item that you have questions about. It s great you have pieces with personal family history they always carry the most value regardless of what their determined worth is. Welcome to the forum all the best with your collecting.

This pin is meant to represent a lapel pin worn by a member of a veteran's organization who had 25 years invested. I have never seen one of these. The quality is quite low when compared to work from the period. In my mind, this is likely not period and possibly a fantasy design.

Amazing how much insigna's they have made!
I am always wundering...would average Joe (or Hans in thise case) would have know when meeting someone wearing thise or that pin, cap, armband or even the uniform...what it was or representing?
