This is a pretty neat little pin. It is stamped "GES. GESCH" twice on the back. It is also stamped "KISSING and WENDEN" (I think) On the back. On the front it says "TRIER 1933" Trier is a town in Germany. It looks like a child's Tshirt on the front, but I hopefully am mistaken about this. Any ideas what this pin represents? The pin is approx. 4.5 cm long.

The nearest I can get to is a similar cross on a German Catholic Women's Federation badge.

Badge to commemorate the 1933 pilgrimage to view the Holy Tunic in Trier. This is a religious rather than a German Military badge, . The cathedral of Trier houses what is said to be the tunic that Jesus wore before his crucifixion.

    I hoped it wasn't a child's t shirt, and I got my wish!

This particular Trier tinnie, 33-01, is one of many Trier tinnies that feature the tunic. Although, interestingly, it was only the 1933 Trier tinnies that did this. 33-04, 33-08, 33-09 and 33-11 all feature the tunic in one way or another. Was this something to do with Jesus allegedly being 33 when he died?
