    Hello Bud,

This piece is from the (DRK) German Red Cross (Street & House Collections) Straßen & Haussammlungen. The series was called "Soldaten und Waffen der Deutschen Wehrmacht" and they were collected on the 17th & 18th of August 1940. There are 12 total pieces in the series...you have the 'Standing Fallschirmjager' piece. It appears that it has been added to some sort of small base at some point.

These items are commonly mis-identified as Winterhilfswerk items. We are currently working on our next book, in it we will cover these types of donation pieces and finally help clear up some of the confusion.

If you ever wanted to complete the rest of the series just send me a PM!

    Hope and of this helps!

    Chrys
