An odd lot of German WW2 items. A large brooch in a brass like material that was worn by a woman in Nazi Germany. A stickpin that is either for the RAD labor service or for the German National farmers association who's motto was "Blood and Soil". A small plastic battleship with a pin. On the front metal piece that looks like a banner is "Gegen Engelland" (We go against England).
I have seen pic 2 like it in a pinback with the Broadsword and sheaf of wheat. very cool.
It is for the Reichsnährstand National Food Producers organization .

I doubt that the "broach" was anything to to with fascism, remember, its an age old good luck sign, amongst other things.
Is your battleship luminous? One of mine is. (Wir Fahren Gegen Engelland)

You may be right about the brooch. I recently posted some Native American jewelry that incorporated swastika's, to them whirling logs. I have to check that out about the battleship. It sure looks like that material. Thanks for the tip.
My $2.00 buy at the flea market today.....................Dave H
Nice pick ups for $2, Dave. I have one of the DRK items, but what is the other?
Tom
Hi Tom.......The Red Cross i believe is WHW as it translates.... Help Us Help....and the other one may be a person that worked for the WHW ?????????.....Dave H
Hey Dave,
Nice pick up's!
The DRK piece is not actually WHW related. This has long been a confusing thing for most tinnie collectors and something that our new book will straighten out. These organizations had their collection drives also...more info is in our book. (I can't be giving out all my knowledge for free! )
The second piece is from Gau 05 Düsseldorf....just another piece from the GSS drive in 1935.
Hope any of that helps!
