Armband?

I bought this at a flea market when i was younger, is it WWII?

looks a honest armband, but i would say you need better photos

clearer shots of the fabric and the inside

i found little peices of brownish thread on the armband as if it was stitched to a uniform, could it be a early sa armband? here are some more pics.

yes it could be but looking at it again i would pass if offerd to me the quality doesnt seem to be there and on TR armbands of this make up like 2/3 piece construction they are normally all good quality.

i paid $20 for it, i got it a long time ago from a firearms dealer at a flea market down at the beach here in NC. This is the first WWII item i bought for my collection, i was maybe 10 years old at the time.

it looks like there is blood splattered on it, it might be something a vet took and dressed up to sell to the REMFs.

Looks good to me. The staining/discoloration is not unusual and almost certainly not blood.
