Why even consider this piece with the mothing problems.Wait for a nice one or visit some websites to see what they have!IMO.
If it had a tag then maaaybe but otherwise I agree with the member above.
Cheers guys I think its the wool type will ask seller if as a tag mothing is pretty common and can be reoaired I believe could ask him to knock a tenner off the price
yes get it cheaper.
Just a quick update on this, managed to get it cheaper and now here with me in Robin Hood country, my first one not the prettiest but genuine that will do for me.
ps, it is the wool variant, with mothing, worth restoring?
I wouldn't try restoring it personally, you'll never be able to sell it should that day come as it will have been 'messed with'. I would prefer an untouched salty example over a fiddled with, 'nicer looking' example any day. At least with the mothing it shows its age, you wouldn't slap a lipstick on your grandmother and expect her to look 21 would you?
well funny you should say that, lol, thanks buddie i just seen some caps restored and great jobs they were too, i will leave as is it smells old too.Just like gran.
Congratulation, everyone needs one in the collection. Marty
