Help with armband

[FJ5 chally]

I have a chance to get a arm band, but have no clue as to where it is from..
It is a party arm band, and moth bitten, but has a solid band of brown cloth as boarders..
This was found as a friend of mine was going through his mothers house,
and his father ws in WWii and brought home by him.. This came back along
with a WSS combat tunic (officers), visor hat, M43, SS officers belt, and lugar
and holster.. For now only thing up for grabs is the armband..
I had Mr.Colemn look at this and he gave the thumbs up as "Period original but not something I have ever seen"..
The pics are crappy, as they were taken by a phone..

IT CERTAINLY APPEARS TO BE A PERIOD MADE PIECE. i HAVE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE. hOPEFULLY ONE OF OUR MEMBERS WILL KNOW THE ANSWER

I agree with Bob as it does look period made.
It could be a SA reservist, that the environment has affected in some way.
Better pics would help.

I would agree with Eric's comment re the enviroment possibly effecting the colour of the stripes.

So either SA reserve in grey or a very faded black for the SS.
