    Normally the RAD did use the regular armband as worn by all political and semi-political organizations.

    Thanks for the response Wim. My main point was the construction method.. I have several kampfbinde in my possession and have witnessed several other types... This is a first for me.. G

    Genuine but an unusual construction. I have seen this before but not a common manufacturing method.

    As Bob says. I wonder if the white disc is one of those that were introduced
    when an old disc was dirty and to replace it.
    There is an order about that, but I do not know out-of-heart when this was
    announced. If I come across the order I will scan it and include it here!

    This chain stitching is more common in pennants and flags. I forgot this tunic had a chain stitched armband. It was on it when I got the tunic 7-8 years ago.
