I beleive the eagle is also a Veterans Ass cap badge. Not sure of it's authenticity

Hi Bowlin, the armband is exactly what the note says below it. A NS-RKB, Nationalsocialistische - Reichskriegerbund / National Socialist State Soldier's League armband. It was indeed an veterans group. Photos aren't very good but they both appear to be authentic wartime originals to me. I believe the bottom one is actually a tunic breast eagle.

Thank you, I thought they were vet items but I never saw a swastika with a vet item, is that common and how much are these worth?

I hate giving values because I haven't bought any NS-RKB stuff in years. Ballpark I'd say $100 on the armband and $40 to $50 on the the breast eagle. Maybe someone else can correct me if that's way off. All of the NS-RKB stuff had swastikas because it was formed by the NSDAP in early 1930's to incorporate the many veterans groups into one.

In these times beside others it exist two main veterans associations. For the OLD Army (all veterans serving to 31.12.1920) it was the Deutsche Reichskriegerbund and for veterans of the NEW Wehrmacht (all from 1.1.1921) the Soldatenbund. The eagle is the sign of Soldatenbund, not the Deutsche Reichskriegerbund (later renamed as NS Reichskriegerbund). The differences are the swords. Long swords are Soldatenbund, short swords are Reichskriegerbund. This eagle could be for cap (backside two ore three needles) or breast (backside a long horizontal clasp). You have to see the backside to state what it was for.
The armband is one for the NS-Reichskriegerbund. On September 15, 1938 the Reichskriegerbund changes his sign to the one you see on the armband. The golden lacing shows, that this armband is for a district leader (16,5mm wide) or a club-leader (9mm wide).
