Looks like a keeper! Nice peice.
Nice original cotton armband with the proper "B" RZM tax code. Wool armbands have a "D" code tag.

Very good condition band!
In the past I've seen two of the wool armbands with the "B" code tag, rather than the correct "D" as Bob says. Do you think this could this have been a mistake at the time, or used if the "D"s ran out, or a addition (of a wrong original tag) postwar??
I have attached photos of one that I believe to be an original 3-piece wool kampfbinde but with a wrong 'B' tag (added later I think). The tag looks torn through the middle, which is strange considering it it well-adhered to the cloth, so I think it may have been taken off something else and and added later(?)
Regards, J.
The "B" tag is definitely added post war by an individual attempting to make the piece more sellable. There would never be a sustitute of labels as they were placed on the item at the manufacturer.

Great. Thanks very much Bob for confirming my suspicions.
A good used example despite the added tag.
