Orts High Leader armband

Hey gang! Quite happy to announce that I was able to acquire this example that arrived today! I do have another example that is in much nicer condition but the quality is not the same (stitched border around the swastika rather than the "rope"). So, I'm quite happy to have added this one to the mix!
Took some pics and thought I'd share!

Thanks guys! Bob: .... I have to ask....is there someting that tells you that it's a '39 issued piece? I ask as I have another that is not of the same quality but is actually in better condition. Here's a couple quick pics of the other Orts example I have. I'm just wondering what makes you see '39 in it.....and if you can tell me something about the other example shown here - it's for the same "rank" but the quality isn't the same....not a rope around the swas - but rather, it's stitching. Is it a later piece? Any info would be great!

Rob-
I was referring to the year 1939 as the year of institution of the
4th pattern political insignia. I know of no indicators to date the year of production of this insignia.

Hi Bob! I gotcha! Thanks for clearing that up for me. I thought there was something on the armband specific to that as being the year of manufacture - but I get it now!
