Floating swastika golden party badge?

Hi,

A while back I picked up a golden party NSDAP badge (the large kind), a mother's medal and another medal from an old man in Krakow (yeah it sounds sketchy .. but it was the market place by the cloth hall) anyway the badge has been repaired on the back at some point and has GES. Gesch on the back with Munchen and the number is around 6000 I think (I haven't looked at it in a while) but the swastika in the middle is not connected to the edges and I am seeing conflicting info over whether this automatically constitutes a fake so I am just asking whether there are examples of these badges that are genuine with a floating swastika?

Also the font is a little fatter and rounded that I've seen on others so I already think it's fake but it would be great if it's not (even though it didn't cost a lot - €20).

I will post some photos when I get home and dig it out but just curious what peoples' thoughts are on it.

Unfortunately not the more I look at it the more I'm convinced itits not genuine but here it is anyway.

The number is a lot lower than I thought-568

Schindler's party pin was made of gold....or at least that's what he said near the end of the film when he was getting into his car to leave. Maybe Oscar had one made out of gold in real life from a jeweler ? (LOL)

Well I know it's not Liam neesons one cos that was sold but I meant from all the dozens of extras in it.

Also I don't think they used an actual gold one as a prop as it was not specified as being gold on the sale page.

Pity Bex it does look like it's one for the dud box.

Is there any chance of popping your Mothers medal and another medal on for us to have a look at?
