M \ 100 Werner Redo Saarlautern ?

I have this pin that seems a bit out of the ordinary. Usually this means nothing good. It is what appears to be a Werner Redo, Saarlautern in great condition. What has me thinking is the "reverse " backslash in the numeration on the back M\100, instead of the usual " / ". I saw one of these up for auction here: NSDAP Party Membership Badge | eMedals Again, with the same "/ " .

What do you gentlemen think?
