Paulmann & Crone is not one that I am aware of that is faked - looking throughJo Rivetts "party badge bible" I can find no reference to this "type" of fake - the lettering looks fine - the "L" and the dash are correct - what are your reasons as to thinking it is fake?? Ges. Gesch RZM and the M number perhaps? That is NOT a certain sign of a fake.

Thank you very much for your reply
It seems to me that the position of the marks "Ges. Gesch", "RZM","M number" in the other 2 badges is different from my one.
Moreover the writings of "Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" look different, less defined. The A and N in National touch each other.
I'm not an expert and I don't know what to observer...

There is an excellent resource for researching NSDAP badges on Jo Rivett's site: https://www.parteiabzeichen.ch (you will need to register). He currently shows seven examples from M1/78. At a quick glance, yours compares to no. 4 and/or 7

Your badge looks as if it was corroded and has been heavily cleaned with an abrasive.

Jo Rivett's book, The Party Badge is worth getting even if you don't collect these specific badges, as it gives so many insights into how original badges where made and in distinguishing period badges from fakes.
