NSDAP party membership badge/pin

This is a NSDAP party badge/pin my Great Grandfather brought back from WWII.

Its in rough shape but I cherish it non the less :P

IM not seeing any mark other then RZM 8 on it. Could you guys help me out?

Howdy lad;
You are right it is a party pin in kinda rough shape. I do not know how to tell who made it. The number 8 may have something to do with the manufacturer.
The fact that your ancestor brought it home as a war trophy certainly makes it a special piece to you as it should sir. Sorry it took a while to get you some feedback. I do not know if I helped any but I have enjoyed looking at your badge.
