Hi there,
Got these ground dug NSDAP badges.
Marked GES GESCH D and a little star.
Now someone tells me these are fakes.
Is there someone who certainly knows these are genuine/fakes/...
Thanks!
Willem
Curious as to who is calling these “ fakes “ and the reasoning behind it .

Look like original planchets to me that have been cleaned Wille.
I like the examples before they have been cleaned as well
All the best

These are the arguments he comes with:
The bubbles are little dots.
Space between the dot and letters DAP.
The corner of the swastika touches the outer circle.
The left and right badges are the same (uncleaned-cleaned)
What do you think?

Do you think the same? Or is every badge different?

Well it looks as though the expert is comparing a grund rohling struck from a completely different die to the rohling ( cleaned / uncleaned ) of these badges possibly attributed to Danner of Mühlhausen . Dies were different between makers naturally so if we compare a Christian Lauer parteiabzeichen to a Höffstatter they are going to be different. Not sure what all the coloured lines are noting ? Looks like a good rohling to me . I will try to post some pics up later .
