Hi gents,

I'd like share with you a set of Parteiabzeichen that I bought today. Especially small badge is pretty interesting. One looks like a some personal badge. The writing on its back:
R. SCHANES
WIEN XII.
LINZERSTR 20
TEL. U 30 2 36

I'm not expert in this area, maybe, this is usual way of badge marking. Please your opinions...

Interesting. I've never seen a Party Badge with an actual Phone number on it's back as part of it's markings!

Very nice R.Schanes Party badge!

The badge is in fine condition, or appears to be, congrats. This is an early period badge, from the 20's, so no M1 would be present. The sunray pattern on the obverse is what makes it more desireable than most other Party badges.

Mark, you are right.

I figured out that badges with such stamp were produced before imposition of obligatory marking RZM and M1. Probably, before 1934. Therefore each maker stamped back side as they wanted, including adress and phone number.

However this is an austrian maker, therefore german rules might not be in force before Anschluss in 1938, so production year is before 1938.
