Real or fake NSDAP Badge pins?

I'm really wanting to find a really good condition badge pin for my collection, but I'm learning these are often faked, and the untrained eye can easily be fooled. My gut tells me I'm going to learn Snyder's Treasures isn't the site to buy from, but I'm pondering $129 for this pin:





What I like about this is that it's clean and unchipped etc.

Is this real or fake?

Suprisingly both are original examples which is rare from Snyder. The top is a good Deschler U Sohn and the second is a minty Gustav Brehmer. Try to knock him down to $100 , as $129 is a bit steep. I would go for the 2nd one that nice mint condition Gustav Brehmer

Yeah. I was tipped off to a guy named Jo, who apparently knows his stuff very well. Thanks to you all here, I have my first badge on order from this gentlemen.

Jo wrote the book on party badges which is a must buy , It is the collectors bible if you are going to collect these as it will make sure that you never buy a fake example.

They are indeed priced too steeply, and the source is terrible (if they're from Snyder). I think Jimm is right about the price; $100 is around top dollar for these. You can get them for less if you watch the collector sites, such as this one and the WAF classifieds.
