Seems like I may need a good book. I also found what looks like a cap badge with a screw back. Would this be real ? The gentleman also had a pin that says "Heil Hitler". So many questions, so little time

Hi, sorry this is not a cap badge. Worse still it is a fake. Any badge like this with a screwback fitting has to be viewed as an Eastern European fake.

These general style/type of early Nazi supporters lapel badges are much faked. Some are also fantasy items. I would not hold out much hope on the other one you mentioned.
