To me, both seem to be good originals exhibiting honest wear to the enamel surfaces. I would like to hear other observations, am I correct or is there any issues I missed. Thanks!
Both are good, solid originals.
Hello. IMO the NSDAP badge a nice original. However the DVG pin would give me concern. The reverse font lettering looks different from what I'd consider to be period originals? Could there be two variations? For a rather limited production piece I kind of doubt it, but it's something to look into. Here's my example with a repaired pin plate and another previously shown in a thread started by avenger. Kindest regards.

DVG Westmark Badge - W. Redo, Saarlautern
Brian! Haven't seen you around in a while!
There are actually variants of this badge (D.V.G. Westmark) to be found, and the difference lies in the back. The known fake has either only REDO or only W. REDO on the back.
Here are some images I made with a scope;
Sorry about the color, I was working out some bugs.
There is a peculiarity of the back font that is shared among the originals, and in a video I watched by Jo Rivett, he points it out and mine has that same quirk.
At any rate, I was concerned too at first, but am 100% confident this is a good example.
