Hi,
I was wondering if someone here can advice on this item, it came from Poland.
The markings seem to be applied twice?, once is a very faint, the other are clearly marked.
Markings for M 4 / 22
Many thanks,
Neil.

Good buckle looks ground dug - Maker M4/22 is Christian Theodor Dicke -

Thanks for the reply, Horst.

Indeed a ground dug example, double stamped buckles turn up now and then, you see them from time to time, I believe Rob lachance has a nice steel RS&S Heer example which he might show if kind enough (thanks Rob )

Hi Horst,
What is the keeper? and what mark to look for?
Neil.
The keeper is the other part you show in your picture - like mine below -

I did not find such markings on the keeper I have.
I will look again when I get home.
Neil.
