Political leaders Buckle arrived today , i'm well chuffed with it

Thought i'd share some better-ish pics of the political leaders buckle that i received this morning. It is my first of this type and i was astounded by the condition of it. I was suprised how lightweight it was but i suppose being made out of aluminium this is the case.

That's a really nice one! I don't usually find these officer-type buckles very appealing, but the political ones like this in great shape are definitely tempting. They may be a bit underrated today.

I didn't expect it to look so good when it arrived , i had it in my hand for about 20 minutes just admiring it (the buckle that is!).

Jim - nice PL buckle, I take it that its the 60mm size for the leather belt?There also is a 52mm size for the brocade dress belt.

M 4/27 as your buckle is marked is for the maker:Overhoff & Co,Ludenscheid.

Thanks Horst - It measures 2 and a half inches exactly (the buckle that is).

Yes, that's the larger buckle for the leather belt - Now you need to find the smaller PL buckle, they are a little more costly.
